Press Release

SPRINGFIELD– Congressman Billy Long (MO-07) today wrote U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ (ACOE) Col. Robert G. Dixon expressing his concerns about the ACOE Table Rock Lake Management Plan’s seemingly absent reverence for community input, and the negative impact it will have on lake access and property values.

“Table Rock Lake belongs to all Southwest Missourians,” said Rep. Long.“Whether it is families living on the water or visiting to boat, fish or camp, the Corps must seek a more viable option that takes the community's needs into account. If constructive dialogue toward this goal cannot be reached, I will introduce legislation aimed at stopping this intrusion."
