Long: NDAA ?vital' to military readiness, troop compensation

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Billy Long (MO-07) this Wednesday supported the passage of H.R. 4909, “the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)” for Fiscal Year 2017. This bill provides crucial baseline funding and authorities for improving efficiency and restoring readiness to America’s Armed Forces.

“When American troops put their lives on the line, they deserve to know they’ll receive the compensation they were promised and the necessary resources and equipment to accomplish their missions,” said Rep. Long.“This bill is vital to defending our military’s readiness so that our nation’s domestic and global security interests are defended.”
