Long statement on Rep. Tom Price being nominated as Secretary of Health and Human Services

SPRINGFIELD– Congressman Billy Long (MO-07) issued the following statement today regarding President-elect Donald Trump’s announcement that he would nominate Congressman Tom Price (GA-06) as his Secretary of Health and Human Services.

“I am proud to see one of my closest friends in Congress, Rep. Tom Price, nominated as Secretary of Health and Human Services,” said Rep. Long. “With Tom’s background in the medical field and his time as a surgeon, I know he will be a great asset to the administration. I look forward to working with him in the coming years.”
