Congressman Billy Long (MO-07) issued the following statement today, following President Obama’s unveiling of his FY 2017 budget request:

“The president’s $4.1 trillion FY 2017 budget request continues to blatantly disregard the realities of our unstable economy,” said Rep. Long. “Instead of planning for economic growth, this administration has opted for a wish list full of policies that would raise prices at the pump and overtax businesses. I was hopeful that he would lay out a plan for tax reform to stifle all of the inversions that drive our companies overseas.”
