Congressman Billy Long (MO-07) issued the following statement today following the House’s passage of H.R. 5620, the VA Accountability First and Appeals Modernization Act of 2016.

“I am proud to have voted in favor of this piece of legislation that helps to ensure that the Department of Veterans Affairs is being held accountable by reforming the disability appeals process and adding additional protections for whistleblowers,” said Rep. Long. “I hope to continue to not only fight for the veterans in my district, but all across the country. The least we can do is give them the care they deserve after they have given so much more to keep us free.”
